Prolithtac Grease is a heavy duty lithium complex, extreme pressure (EP) grease with excellent anti-wear and high temperature performance. It provides excellent adhesion and water resistance, rust and corrosion protection and extended life in high temperature service. It is manufactured with a lithium complex soap base with selected high viscosity index mineral oils combined with rust, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, specially selected lead free extreme pressure additives and a tackiness additive.

APPLICATION

Prolithtac Grease is the prime recommendation for use in applications where high thermal resistance is required. These include automotive, industrial, mining, earthmoving and marine applications such as wheel bearings subjected to high temperatures and load caused by repeated and high-speed braking in particular on disc brakes, chassis, high speed ball and roller bearings, pre-packed and sealed for life bearings in several heavy industries, boat trailer wheel bearings, water pumps, winches etc. and other applications requiring grease lubrication.

Prolithtac Grease may be used where either soap based or clay-based greases are recommended, particularly if rationalisation of grease types is required. Always check Compatibility. The recommended temperature range is from -25 oC to 175 oC, however Prolithtac Grease may be used at temperatures to 200oC with the lubrication frequency increased accordingly
